Speech and language delay
The child who is not talking yet, or is hard to understand; also articulation, fluency/stammering, voice, and feeding-related difficulties.

For doctors & schools
Thank you for thinking of us. We are Cornerstone Therapy Solutions, a paediatric therapy practice in Kalyan Nagar and Dr. Shivarama Karanth Nagar — in our twelfth year of working with children and the families who care for them.
We are speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and an educational psychologist who work with children — from the early years through school age, from two centres in north-east Bangalore, working on the same principles.
We take a child only when we believe we can genuinely help. If we are not the right fit, we will say so, and we will point the family somewhere honest.
The usual reasons children are referred to us.
The child who is not talking yet, or is hard to understand; also articulation, fluency/stammering, voice, and feeding-related difficulties.
Sensory, motor, handwriting, and daily-skills difficulties.
Showing up at school — supported through our educational psychologist, including school readiness and behaviour.
Psychology-led support, at Kalyan Nagar.
We’re being explicit about availability because the two centres differ: Psychology & Behavioural Support runs at Kalyan Nagar; physiotherapy is not currently running at either centre; and audiology is a visiting, non-full-time service.
Every child starts with a consultation or a fuller assessment. The family receives our findings in plain language, along with our recommendations — not a pile of jargon.
With the family’s written consent, we share a summary with you: what we found, what we are doing, and how the child is progressing. We can do that by report, WhatsApp, call, in person, or an office visit — and we report honestly, including when progress is slower than we hoped. Detailed evaluation reports take about fifteen days; shorter summaries can be quicker. Formal school liaison and coordination is arranged and billed separately from therapy sessions.
Referral is simple, and the family always remains in control:
We will need the child’s age, the concern as you see it, and any reports you already have. We will take it from there, and we will keep you informed as the family allows.
One call or message is enough to start. We will tell you honestly whether we can help, and who else to consider if we can’t.
