How it works

Six steps. You’ll always know what comes next.

Here is how Cornerstone works, from the first phone call to your first progress review. Nothing here should feel like a mystery before you walk in.

This page shows you the whole path in one place: six steps, each small, each yours to take when you’re ready. No step commits you to the next until it makes sense for your child.

  1. 01

You call or write to us

Someone on the team talks with you during working hours — Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. You don’t need the right words or a referral. Tell us about your child the way you’d tell a friend. “He isn’t talking yet.” “She’s not like the other children in class.” That’s enough.

Prefer to write? WhatsApp or email us on +91 70225 30530 / contact@cstbangalore.com. We read messages during working hours, and we’ll come back with questions rather than a sales pitch.

  2. 02

A conversation, to understand what you’re seeing

We will ask about your child — their age, what you’ve noticed and for how long, and what a day looks like at home. This isn’t a diagnosis and it isn’t a decision. It’s how we work out whether a consultation, a fuller assessment, or simply watching for a few months is the right next step. If it’s not us, we’ll say so.

  3. 03

A consultation, and then the right assessment

Some questions can be answered in a consultation (₹1,000) — a focused conversation with a clinician about your child and what you’re seeing. When a fuller picture is needed, we recommend a detailed evaluation, which is a different service at a different price, from ₹2,000 for standard evaluations and ₹2,500–₹4,000+ for specialised ones. We always explain what an assessment can and cannot tell you before you book it.

An assessment is how we avoid guessing. It isn’t a gate and it isn’t an upsell — it’s the difference between a plan and a hope.

  4. 04

    Your child’s plan

If therapy is right, we put together a plan before your child starts, in plain language: what we’re working toward, which therapist your child will see, how often, and roughly for how long. Every plan is different, because every child is — our work is custom made, child to child.

  5. 05

Sessions, and you’re part of them

If therapy is recommended, we will explain the goals, frequency, fees, and what you can do between sessions before you begin. Families usually start at one or two sessions a week, but that’s a clinical recommendation, not a rule — we’ll tell you honestly what a typical week looks like before you commit. Sessions sit inside our one shift (Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 1:30 pm), with the after-school block the busiest.

  6. 06

    Progress reviews

About once every four months, we sit down properly: what has changed, what hasn’t, and what’s next. You leave with a progress summary and updated goals in writing. Goals change as your child grows — that’s the point of reviewing them. If something isn’t working, we say so and change the plan, rather than let it drift.

How long will this take?

There is no honest date for every child’s progress. The time depends on the child, the goal, and the support that fits. Progress in children is rarely a straight line — it comes in weeks and months, not days, and plateaus are normal. We can agree what to look at, and when we’ll review it. What we won’t do is pretend otherwise.

Where to go from here

If this path sounds right, the next step is step one: a phone call. Ask us anything — about your child, about fees, about the assessment. The number is +91 70225 30530.
