Assessment first
Every service starts with a consultation or a fuller evaluation. It is the difference between a plan and a hope.

Why Cornerstone
Your child is not a slot on a timetable. Here is how Cornerstone actually works — so you can judge us before you call.
Parents ask us two things before they ever visit: Are you qualified? and Will my child actually benefit? Both deserve a straight answer. This page is ours.
Many therapy centres offer a set of programmes and fit children into them. Our starting point is different: each child’s plan is written from their own assessment — their words, their play, their worries, their strengths. The founder’s rule is simple: the work has to be made for the child, never the child fitted to the work.
That’s why an assessment comes first, before any therapy — not as a hurdle or an upsell, but because a plan that fits is only possible after we’ve met your child.
A child’s development doesn’t divide neatly into departments. Speech, movement, learning, behaviour and the early years are tangled up in each other — so we keep them under one roof and let the therapists work from one plan rather than separate corners. Speech and language therapy and occupational therapy run at both centres; psychology and educational support run at Kalyan Nagar, delivered by our educational psychologist. When several of those are needed, they talk to each other — and, with your permission, to your child’s school.
A child needs to feel safe enough to take part. Our aim is for the room to feel calm, respectful, and clear for both child and parent. What that looks like can differ from one child to another — and the therapist’s job is to find the approach that fits your child. Warmth isn’t a soft extra here; parents tell us it’s the thing that keeps them coming back.
We will explain which services are available, who provides them, and what each service involves. If we are not the right team for a child’s needs, we will say so and help the family find who is. We don’t try to keep a family we can’t genuinely help.
The work has to be made for the child — never the child fitted to the work.
A Cornerstone principle
Parents sometimes watch a young child’s session and wonder whether anything is being taught. Fair question. Here’s the honest version:
For some children, play is part of the way a therapist observes, builds trust, and works toward agreed goals. The activity should have a reason, and the therapist should be able to explain that reason to you. Ask what was worked on, and what you can do next.
A consultation is ₹1,000; therapy sessions start at ₹900; detailed evaluations start at ₹2,000. It’s all printed on the Fees page rather than discovered at the front desk. You’ll know what therapy costs before your child starts — plain numbers, no fine print.
You shouldn’t need a calculator to decide whether your child can get help here.
Don’t take our word for it. Ask how many speech and occupational therapists we have, how long we’ve been running, and what progress looks like in the first months — the team and history behind those answers are on the team page and our story.
Three of these are worth seeing for yourself before you call.
Every service starts with a consultation or a fuller evaluation. It is the difference between a plan and a hope.
Goals go in writing, and we sit down properly about once every four months: what changed, what didn’t, and what’s next.
The two centres differ. Psychology & Behavioural Support runs at Kalyan Nagar; physiotherapy is not running at either centre.
