It starts with understanding.
Behaviour is a message: I’m overwhelmed. I can’t say what I need. This is too much.

Psychology & Behavioural Support
The school called again. His younger sister walks on eggshells around his moods. You’ve tried being gentle, being firm, being everything. Here’s what twelve years has taught us: behaviour that doesn’t shift is rarely “bad behaviour” — often, it’s communication, and a psychologist can help you read it.
Support here is led by a qualified educational psychologist, and it’s available at our Kalyan Nagar centre. It covers both assessment and evaluation — developmental, cognitive, and behavioural questions — and ongoing behaviour support for a child and their family.
How the team works is what matters here: it starts with understanding your child, then builds a plan with you. We don’t name or champion a single branded method — we use what fits the child in front of us, and we explain our thinking in plain language as we go. No jargon, no blame, no “systems” you’d need training to decode.
Behaviour is a message: I’m overwhelmed. I can’t say what I need. This is too much.
What’s driving the behaviour, goals in plain language, and how we’ll know things are changing.
Naming feelings, managing the big ones.
Parents are coached, not lectured — you leave with concrete responses for the next meltdown and the next school call. Parent coaching is woven into the plan, and where a named programme fits (like More Than Words or TalkAbility), we’ll use it.
With your permission, we work with the other therapists in the centre — and with the school — so the adults around your child respond the same way.
Most childhood behaviour is development doing its loud work — tantrums at three, limit-testing at seven, moodiness at twelve are all normal.
A conversation helps when behaviour starts running the family: school regularly disrupted, your child hurting themselves or others, storms far longer than their cause, or when you’re simply exhausted and out of ideas. None of that means something is “wrong” with your child — it means the current approach has run its course.
Change is slow and never a straight line. You’ll likely see it at home first: a shorter storm, an evening that recovers, a word where a scream used to be. We set goals you can see and review them about once every four months.
Not necessarily — and we don’t prescribe. If we believe a medical opinion would help, we’ll say so and guide you.
No. Behaviour like this isn’t caused by a parent’s mistake. What is yours is the response — and that can be learned.
Because “everything” is usually a series of guesses. This starts with understanding — what the behaviour is really saying — then one consistent plan.
Yes — support is built around your child. Children with autism can have enormous feelings, and psychology-led support alongside speech and occupational therapy is often part of the answer. This support is at Kalyan Nagar; if you’re nearer our other centre, we’ll tell you how it works.
No — Psychology & Behavioural Support runs at Kalyan Nagar. We’d rather tell you that plainly than let you book something that isn’t there.
A psychology consultation is ₹1,000; sessions are ₹900. Our Fees page shows the structure, and we answer plainly on the phone.
